Data errors and corrections
If you spot incorrect boundaries, outdated figures, or missing places, please include the federal state or postcode and a brief description of the issue. For OpenStreetMap data errors, you can also fix them directly at openstreetmap.org. Corrections there flow into AustriaMap automatically. openstreetmap.org.
General feedback
Feature ideas, usability comments, or anything else are all welcome. We are a small project and cannot promise fast replies, but we read everything.
What we cannot help with
- API AustriaMap does not offer a public API. For raw data, use the original sources on our data-sources page.
- We do not produce custom datasets or shapefile exports.
- For authoritative Austrian geodata, contact BEV directly.
